Province IV Synod will be held June 6-8 at Kanuga, with the PIV House of Bishops meeting there June 4-6.  The registration again this year is all online. Here is the Registration Link for both meetings.

This year's Province IV Synod (June 6-8 at Kanuga) will include elections for Provincial offices for the next triennium.

Provinces offer 4

pre-GC webinars

The 9 Provinces of The Episcopal Church — the Provincial Leadership Conference — will host a series of 4 webinars on issues that will come before General Convention this summer. The  PLC recommends deputations watch together and participate in the webinars as a unit. Here are the topics, dates and links to register for each:

• June 14 — Care of Creation

ECW annual retreat 

at Kanuga June 4-6

The Province IV ECW will hold is annual retreat June 4-6 at Kanuga, with the Rev. Dr. Sandra McCann of the Diocese of Atlanta and Tanzania, as keynote speaker and priest. "Building Bridges of Peace and Reconciliation" is the continuing these; this year, the focus will be on building bridges in the country and in the world. Here is where you register.

draws  215 to Kanuga

The Province IV 2017 Synod opened June 7 at Kanuga Conference Center near Hendersonville, N.C., with 215 attending two-and-a-half days of worship, learning, conversation and preparation for General Convention next year in Austin, Texas. Above, Province President Angela Daniel of the Diocese of Upper South Carolina and Province Vice President Don Johnson, bishop of the Diocese of West Tennessee, spearheaded the full agenda of presentations and workshops, interspersed with worship and opportunities for fellowship and networking. Province IV is the largest of The Episcopal Church’s nine provinces and gathers two out of the three years of the triennium in Synod in the mountains of western North Carolina.

    July 5, 2018  |  General Convention 2018 will be held July 5-13, 2018, at The Austin Convention Center, Austin, General Convention, the Diocese of Texas, and Austin, TX.
